For the past 50 years, Scottsdale Christian Academy has been fulfilling its mission to maximize the God-given potential of each student, preparing them to live lives of distinction, by impacting the world for Jesus Christ.

From Preschool through 12th grade, SCA teachers disciple and mentor students to holistically develop through excellent academics, co-curricular experiences and service opportunities.

A critical component to fulfilling our mission is ensuring that all students have access to a sustainable SCA education. This is often only possible through scholarships and tuition assistance. Your part in helping us meet our annual student scholarships goal through tax credit donations is essential to the success of every SCA student.

YOUR donation has been designated and will be restricted to specifically provide tuition scholarships for students attending Scottsdale Christian Academy.

The Arizona Private Education Scholarship Fund, Inc. qualifies as a School Tuition Organization (STO) pursuant to A.R.S. Section 43-1089.

  • If you are an Arizona taxpayer, your donation may qualify for a tax credit against Arizona state taxes you owe in the calendar year the donation was made or the previous year if your donation was made prior to April 15. Please consult your tax advisor for further information.
  • If you are claiming a tax credit for your donation, you must file Arizona tax forms 301, 323 and sometimes 348 along with your Arizona income tax forms. Please visit http://www.azdor.gov/Forms/Credits.aspx to download forms and instructions.
  • The Arizona Private Education Scholarship Fund, Inc. is a tax-exempt organization pursuant to federal law, Section 501 (c) (3) Federal I.D. number 86-0958161.

STEP was designed to enable any qualified Arizona private school to market the tax-credit program to its unique consitutents in a way that highlights (and feels like!) the school.

The STEP mission is:

  1. to build and encourage community.
  2. to put the donor’s focus back on the school’s mission.
  3. to empower APESF partners with the tools and support needed to advance their own school-recommended support.
  4. to supplement all other STO efforts.

APESF provides compliance with the state of Arizona for each participating school as a certified STO and 501(c)(3). APESF enables donors to receive either a tax credit or tax deduction for their donation, but the school community and its students are at the focus.
